The pistes are spread over 3 slopes - the Argentière glacier,
Lognan and la Pendant - and offer marvellous on and off-piste skiing.
Ski or board adjacent to the glacier and take advantage of exceptional snow
conditions right up until early May. A new Snowpark open in 2007 van be found in
the Lognan ski area.
Les Chosalets 1230m
Expansive slope for beginners & ideal for children. Situated in Argentiere 500m
from the Lognan cable car.
Brévent / Flégère 1030m - 2525m
These 2 ski areas can be accessed by the Plan Praz gondola or by the
Flégère
cable car and have fantastic panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc range and Alps.
Slopes suitable for skiers of all abilities.
Le Domaine de Balme 1453m -
2270m
Accessed via the villages of Le Tour and Vallorcine, this area
offers a wide variety of pistes - from Charamillon, enjoy the wide open gentle slopes overlooking the entire Chamonix
valley and on the Vallorcine side, ski through beautiful Spruce and Larch lined pistes
close to the Swiss border.
Le Domaine des Houches 950m - 1900m
Superb forest runs with panoramic views for the delight of all snowriders.
La Vormaine 1480m
Located at the foot of Charamillon next to the village of Le Tour (Balme
Ski area), these
sunny slopes are ideal for novice to intermediate skiers and snowboarders alike,
also ideal for children with a ski kindergarten run by the ski school..
Le Savoy 1049m
In the centre of Chamonix, at the foot of the Brevent, 2 drag lifts and a
conveyor belt lift, a favourite with beginners and children.. Artificial
snow and ski kindergarten.
Aiguille du Midi & Vallee Blanche 3842m Take the incredible cable car trip to the Midi for the amazing views. The famous Vallee Blanche off piste run is the longest in Europe has wonderful views with fantastic scenery. However it should only be attempted by experienced skiers & boarders with a guide and only when conditions are good.
